General Company For Cereal Silos:

is a government company has seventeen concrete silos in the governorates of the country.
The Company was established due to the decree no. / 1263/ dated 3/ 7/ 1975 and specialized with the following main missions:
- To manage , exploit silos and technical warehouses in the production, consumption, and exporting areas.
-To screen, clean, manufacture, and product the handled and adopted seeds, and to be handled in the seeds plants.
- To manufacture both ready and concentrated fodder in the fodder mills due to the country need.
The decree no. /51/ , which stipulates to amend the decree of establishing the company, issued in 4/2/2003 as the following:
a- The name of the company will be amended to become ( The General Company For Cereal Silos).
b- Its specialization is defined with the following:
1- To manage and exploit the silos in the country.
2- To construct the concrete silos in order to cover the need of the regular storage capacities to store the agricultural crops able to be stored for all sectors.
3- To manufacture, install and maintain the mechanical and electrical equipment of the silos.
4- To manufacture the electrical and mechanical hardware entering in its specialization for the account of others.
- To move the possession and exploitation of the two fodder mills in Hama and Alleppo to The General Establishment of fodder.
- To move the possession and exploitation of the seeds plants to the General Establishment for increasing seeds.
